Will Kasabian's new album be guitarless?

Tom Meighan of Kasabian has revealed that the band are considering extreme measures when it comes to recording their next album, and that Serge Pizzorno has anywhere between eight and 30 new tracks ready to record. Speaking to Gigwise he has claimed that all of the new material could be guitarless, some bands have pulled it off, and some haven't.



Tom was speaking about new material for the follow up to the band's 2010 album 'Velociraptor!', he revealed that his friend (and bandmate) Serge Pizzorno has already given him 'glimpses' of future Kasabian hits.

"I've heard a few glimpses of tracks, but nothing full. I reckon he's got 8-10 tracks written. It's a bit early for him to show me though," he added. "He might have 30, that's just how it is."
