Friday's Finest

So it's once again Friday, lucky for some but I have work. None-the-less that doesn't mean I've skimped on the quality of the music, us and Slate The Disco have put together yet another great 5 track playlist for your weekend.

It's All Indie: Lovelife - Me After You
After the sudden split-up of Viva Brother, lead singer (Leonard) decided to still peruse a career in music, the outcome of his next endeavour was this. Last week he unveiled Lovelife, this band is a synth-pop band with the gruff vocals of Leonard and has plenty of attitude, and I have to say, better than his previous bands

Slate The Disco: Thee Oh Sees - Lupine Dominus
Thee Oh Sees have released the first taste of their upcoming album ‘Putrifiers II’ which is out on September 11th. The record will be the group’s fourteenth album and you can listen to first track ‘Lupine Dominus’ below.

It's All Indie: Theme Park - Jamaica
This summery Indie-Pop gem definetly puts you in the mood and you can see the band perform this song (alongside many more) when they support Bloc Party on their October tour later this year. This song clearly showcases their Indie-Pop kings credentials as you can easily see masses of people going out and grooving along to their beats!

Slate The Disco: Why? - Sod The Seed
California’s alternative Hip Hop sensation Why? have confirmed the brand new ‘SOD IN THE SEED EP’, is to be released on the 13th of August via City Slang. In addition to this news, the band have confirmed a host of UK live dates for October (listed below) and are offering title track out on a free download which you can get below.

Unanimous: Bastille - Bad Blood
