The Underground Festival announces it's line-up

The Underground Festival in Gloucester has announced their line-up, we went down all the way from Cambridge last year to catch some great bands and it looks like this year round we will be doing the same with the Saturday being mainly Indie based bands and the Sunday being a bit more Rock, but we'll be down for both days for sure.

Heading up the main stage this year are Bastille and Lower Than Atlantis. Bastille is the electronic vision of frontman Dan Smith, which started as a solo project and has grown into a band creating massive pop songs such as their breakthrough ‘Flaws’. Lower Than Atlantis are a band that have threatened to dominate the UK rock scene for years, and now seem set to make their charge. Freshly signed to Island Records, they release their first major label record in October. They will joined by Birmingham scenesters Peace, who seem to be everywhere at the moment, and are hot off the back of tours supporting Mystery Jets and Manic Street Preachers, and then signing to Columbia Records. Alongside them are Birmingham friends Swim Deep and guitar pop band The Struts, who have recently been out supporting McFly.
