Introducing... The Stanley Blacks

The Stanley Blacks, named after the 1950’s computer, are a young infectious pop outfit from Surrey, who have already successfully broken onto the notorious Los Angeles music scene after touring there, playing high profile venies such as Whiskey-A-Go-Go and Bardot Hollywood. They also had their track Glow played on the US version of Shameless.

The band’s guitar driven and infectious pop sound has all the energy of the late 70s rock scene fused with the recognisable influences of 60s pop and mod including The Beatles, The Jam and various Motown artists. They have a huge local following in the London area, and have also become a huge hit on YouTube, with their previous release Everest racking up an astonishing 30,000 views.

The band recently recorded three tracks with the well known producer Mitch Kenny, who liked the band so much he flew over from Australia to work with them. It's a sun-soaked anthem which takes the previously rock-focused band into a more synth-pop place with a driven chorus.

The first of the three tracks recorded with Kenny is Sythesise, for which they flew over to sunny Spain to record the fun filled video, which can be seen at the bottom of the post! It's a sun-soaked anthem which takes the previously rock-focused band into a more synth-pop place with a driven chorus, available on free download from Synthesise.tv!
