This week we've got something new for you all, a talented young band hailing from Harlow, Essex. No they're not dumb-ass Essex boys like the folk on 'TOWIE', but they're a young band with aspirations, hopes and dreams. They're starting off their new band in a great fashion, releasing a free demo just days ago, we've fondly become attached to it.
The song itself is a brooding mix of The Police, Bombay Bicycle Club and elements of recent Indie upstarts Peace. Having drawn comparisons from all of the above it's clear that the band want to be successful, but not be able to be pinned down to one genre in the Indie spectrum. With delicate guitar tones, strong vocals from Jonny and a very catchy chorus I can see loads of people latching onto this band as soon as they fully release material.
Their first show is this weekend on the 20th of April at The Nest in London, entry is free before 11pm and they're on around 9:50 we're told. Judging them from past bands the members have been in, the hype from Jonny Stemp's solo work and this song means that they're in it for the long-haul!
What's best of all is that this song is free to download!
