Surf, Rock and Roll, Punk? A Beach Boys Blood Red Shoes fusion? concoction? NO!..Conglomeration!? This maybe the best way to pigeon hole surf rockers CLAWS but frankly I just don't want to, there's just no need to! Their fresh edgy surf punk sound is starting to resonate around the South East reverberating off the bricked walls and cobbled streets that lay in their path, bringing with them their laid back but electrifying style of play.
Since their formation during the Autumn of 2013 CLAWS have gone onto release their début EP 'Fairground' which includes their début single 'Too Much Time' and track 'Hectors Bell'. They have gigged heavily through the best part of 2014 resulting in much deserved recognition and plays on Radio 1's Jen and Ally's BBC Introducing show.
What more can I say? The future is looking vibrant for the East coast rockers what with a heavy tour schedule in the pipeline supporting their current EP and new single 'Melt' which is due for release on August 16th! So keep these guys on your radar, they may be in your town soon...
