Bands to look out for at this year's Slam Dunk Festival!

Slam Dunk Festival 2015 is just round the corner and the line up is better than ever. The day long festival will be stopping at Leeds, Hertfordshire and Wolverhampton and bringing some great bands with them. Taking place over the May bank holiday weekend, Slam Dunk will prove to be one of the best days of the year. This year the line up is very impressive, so we have made a list of bands you should check out!

It's a bit predictable to say check out the headliners, but You Me At Six will not fail to impress you. After just playing a mammoth sized gig at London's O2 Arena, the band will be taking to Slam Dunk's main stage which, compared to the O2 Arena, is a intimate show for the band. Don Broco also take to the main stage during the day and with anthem tracks like "Priorities" and "Hold On", they will go down an absolute treat, especially if the sun is shining! Sticking to the topic of anthems, Lower Than Atlantis make an appearance and after seeing them at Koko just before Christmas, we can guarantee that they will shake Slam Dunk to it's very core.


Pop-punkers The Wonder Years headline the Macbeth stage. Expect a lot of crowd surfing and a loud crowd. They never disappoint. Along with them, Boston heroes Transit will prove equally as great of a set, fitting in perfectly to the line up.

If you're looking for something a bit heavier, then you will definitely find the pit at the Impericon stage. Headlined by The Bronx and Gallows, the stage will be home to some of the best and most promising hardcore bands in the scene. Joining them are the likes of Comeback Kid, Stick To Your Guns, Deez Nuts, Trash Talk and Being As An Ocean. If you're looking to have a rough time, you now know where to go.

The line up doesn't stop there. One more stage, the Fresh Blood stage, will bring some promising and outstanding music. Headlined by Moose Blood, a band that have been taking the UK and EU by storm, you will see acoustic duo This Wild Life performing a few sad songs and maybe even a song about frontman Kevin Jordan's dog, "General extreme noise" band Baby Godzilla who will quite possible break everything in the room due to their brilliantly chaotic set and heartfelt tracks from The Wonder Year's Dan Campbell's side project Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties.
